My work is primarily as a carver and sculptor working to Public commissions. I have also undertaken memorials and lettering commissions and feel that each work is just as important and unique. My work in stone is an expression of the awe and wonder I feel in the face of the elements and perhaps something of that is conveyed in the individual pieces I carve. The work is also very much for a place or space and for the people for whom it is intended. The choice and working of the material helps to convey meaning or a sense of something, which cannot always be put into words.
