Iain Cotton is a sculptor and letter carver, working mostly in stone. He has been carving professionally for twenty years; his work includes memorials, carving for historical contexts, architectural carving, masonry, and stone conservation. He has made work for private clients, churches, and public bodies such as the National Trust.

Iain finds commissions for memorials particularly satisfying and an ideal opportunity to collaborate with the client by drawing out and interpreting their ideas.

Iain originally studied sculpture, and continues to make and exhibit his own work.
