As a lettering designer, a shaper of calligraphically conceived texts, I am always concerned to create forms which are elegant, expressive and legible. As a maker of memorials I try to embody a quality which we seek in life and hoped to be remembered by – dignity.

In engraving glass my intention is always to integrate surface, form and pattern with text in an overall organic unity – a true calligraphic glass which is above all expressive in character.

I undertake commissions throughout the North East.
